Collection of Russian Empire GOLD Coins

    I’ve recently started going through my collection of gold coins and wanted to connect with other collectors who are interested in historic and international gold coins, particularly
    Imperial Russian coins.

    I have several pieces that I’ll be sharing, including Nicholas II gold rubles from the late 1800s and early 1900s. I’d be interested in hearing opinions regarding condition, collectibility, rarity, and current collector interest.

    I’m located in the NYC/Connecticut area and would especially enjoy connecting with collectors in the Northeast, although I’m happy to hear from collectors anywhere in the U.S.

    I’ll post some photos below. Looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts and learning more about the collection.

    10 roubles. 22.6 mm versus the 21.6 mm of a US half-eagle coin. 8.6 grams versus 8.3 grams for the US coin. So yeah, pretty close.
