Next weekend is the 66th Annual Kentucky State Coin Show. New location this year (see below). Just south of Louisville, KY. It was a fantastic show last year. Once again the tables are sold out. I will be set up as a dealer again this year. Look for me at tables B9-B13. Let me know you are a CoinTalk member and I will have something FREE for you.

    Hope to see you there.

If I get a chance I will swing by - just a few miles from me here in Louisville.

Hopefully the show goes well! I'm in KY but the far western part of the state. Louisville is about a 5 hour drive from me!

Just too far for me as it’s a full days drive but it looks like a nice show.

I'd say it'll be a nice show outside of the bourse chairman, who is actually one reason why I'm not going.

In a few words, Andy (the bourse chairman) is a complete status snob rock, and also a reason why I left the coin club he is a secretary of. I'm also certain he believes he must be exclusively heard in a room of 1,000 people, due to an "Upper Midwestern" accent that I believe is fake. He also admits he is not a dealer, but magically knows everything about anything. He once told me that his goal was to make the show the biggest in the region, which is fine, but he acts like (without actually saying it) it's all to life.

However, John (his son) is one I've never had trouble with. Since I left the coin club, our dealing is less frequent but still occurs at least twice a year. And yes, he is actually a dealer; my verdict is that Andy is using it as a way to benefit himself because John is not old enough to drive yet.

Other than that, there's a ton of tables, which should make for a good show.
