2026-D Declaration of Independence quarter strike through?

    Looking for a privy mark, I just went through 10 Loomis wrapped rolls and found about one roll of these. Does this look like a strike through to you?

    Looks like a Struck Through Debris (grease). They could be a variety now that you have a whole roll of them.;)

    Agreed struck through grease.

    A "variety" and an "error" are two different things. A variety is a variance with the die - a crack, a scratch, something like that. Every coin struck with the variety will be the same. This struck through grease will be different on every coin... sure, he could come up with a clever name and try to market it since he has a bunch of them.

    But, let's be clear with the vocabulary, please.
