It's borderline 65/66 in my eyes. I'm leaning more on the lower side and since it appears to be in an older holder of some kind I'm going with MS-65, definitely not Full Steps.

 

The dark pastels on this one definitely distract from the luster I will give you that Mr Numismatist.

 

MS 64...something about it makes me want to go a step below gem

SO, I will get some better photos, because anyone that says AU on this one are confusing toning with contact.

 

I was beginning to wonder if I struck way out on my guess. Sounds like there's still hope.

 

Actually, I tried to get new photos. Maybe someone wants to explain how they see an AU coin? I will give the reveal later this evening.

 

MS65 if it has the luster

 

So Pickin..... Around the left rim on the obverse specifically at "God We"..... Is that rim buggared or is that just some deep toning making it look that way?

 

Nope not a buggared rim just lighting. The toning is actually a deep blue, it is speckled all over the coin, I can't seem to get the right light on the toning without blowing out "over exposing" all the details.

 

I will admit that I haven't been able to get that Luster that everyone has been looking for. I have Photo'd this thing 10 if I have tried 20x. I cannot capture the in-hand look. It's a blazer. Catches your eye. Under a lens though, it takes a much better photographer.

 

Not bad actually. You need one of those Doohickey photo set-ups that some guys use. Too fancy for me but they work if you want better pics of coins in slabs.

 

Is the slab somewhat hazy or is it still fairly translucent? Maybe the slab is preventing the luster from displaying on the photo?

 

Just my opinion. Maybe it's the lighting source above. The slab has a blue tint.

 

Its not the Slab It is the coin. And that is why it is apart of my NGC no lone sets. Don't you have coins that are plenty better than you can capture?
