Hello all, Meow the Kitty here! Meow just had a CRH dream just true. Nothing too crazy, but it was something Meow has been hoping to find CRH but has not happened until today. Meow is going to autistically yowl a bit here in regard. Meow has been doing a lot of penny CRH as Meows Cat wallet had been quite light for a while. So Meow will try to get in paw as many penny rolls as possible every week including hand rolled pennies turned in by customers at the bank. Maybe about 15% of the time these penny rolls are search dumps by others. So there is almost no chance of finding anything obviously valuable in those. And sometimes these rolls will contain nothing but BU coins of the same date. On the rare occasions that Meow comes across BU penny rolls in bank wrapped form, Meow would just save them intact. But if there was a slightly damaged roll of BU coins, Meow would open it to see what variations might be there and put the now unwrapped BU coins in a BCW coin tube to save them anyway. Apparently, some collectors dont save the BU coins. Now to the actual find. Meow received what looked like four rolls of hand rolled 2018 d BU pennies. Meow searched them for variations, and that out of the four rolls; Meow found (21) 2018 d WDDO-001 BU pennies. Meow has more than a few of these already, but Meow never did ever find any actually uncirculated ones until today. This was something Meow for a long time was always hoping to find as certain issues like the 2018 d DDO was distributed in Meows area. The BU rolls of this date Meow found in the past did not contain any BU DDOs. This has made Meow purr very loudly and is hoping this might be the start of good things for Meow, so Meow can get out from under the couch.

Meow did not know that 2026 coins were a chase item. Meow does not do dimes but did find a silver nickel in a hand roll bundled with Bank rolled 2025d BU nickels. That was only the 4th silver nickel Meow found.

There was a chance Meow could have been named to it. But decided to sleep on in instead. Another member either here or another forum sent it in for attribution at Wexlers. But Meow found it months before that person or anyone else that Meow knows. That Member sent it in, and it did make WDDO-001. The name MeowtheKitty could have been listed as its finder. But Meow would rather sleep or hide under the couch than to seek Numismatic fame. Meow finds one of these on average in about $400 in pennies. Meow is absolutely purring over finding them in BU rolls. Correction: Meow found (23) in the four rolls and not (21).

Meow was thinking of grading them at ANACS but Meow cannot afford to do it. Meow will just stash them in a tin and label it. They are stored in fold over double flips for now as Meow has no more fancy holders for them.

Meow is super purring over the find. Meow always hoped to find these in BU. They were well distributed in Meows area. And all the BU rolls Meow obtained did not contain any. But Meow is very happily shocked to get them 8 years later, and in a coin dump of all places. It may seem petty and lame to some, but when one spends most of one's recent life hiding under the couch it is a ray of sunshine and hope.

Meow is hoping that this is the start of the road towards better things. And Meow can finally stop hiding under the couch.

I did not know of this variety either, looks like it is fairly easy to spot once you know what to look for! Congratulations on the nice haul Meow!

There are 2015 d types (minor double ear and Major double ear.)
    A 2019 d just like the 2018 d
And Meow did find one 2016 d (minor doubling)
There are more but types but Meow has only found these.
