I bought this coin from Jonathan Kern in 1986. I saw it advertised in an issue of Coin World, I liked it, so I sent Mr. Kern a fax as I remember to confirm my interest.
I'll call it F-15. Super cool coin! Also, I had no idea Kern was selling coins in 1986. I've bought from him at the Derby City show in Louisville, and he seems like a really nice guy with competitive pricing.
I loved his ads in C.W, many coins with pictures, unlike many other advertisers. I bought a number of coins from him back then. In the days before the internet, printed material, like his ads, were the next best thing.
