There are aspects of the old book which were better than the new one. For example the write-ups for the commemorative coins have been cut back considerably.

I find the Red Book very helpful but I don’t pay much attention to the price guide. Prices are all across the country but at least you can tell the harder to find dates by the price.

Yes Sal, the book. If my wife ever thought what you just suggested I be in the dog house for a very long time. LOL

I'm in the doghouse every day. So, what's one more time.
I swear I have a life sentence there. :wideyed:

I avoid the doghouse. If all I got was the silent treatment it would be fine but I never get that. I get all the fussing and complaining that comes with it. :)

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Whenever I've bought the Red Book in the past, I always buy the Spiral Bound version - I find it to be far easier to use.

But that commemorative cover is pretty sweet.

Guess it's time to update my last 2016 large print edition then I can read about all the newer coins since then.

I went with the spiral bound for the first time. The glue in the binding has given away twice in my older editions. I use them so much and with my selling coins in the antique shop I’ve increased my usage.

Congrats on the new book. I am thinking about updating my 2014 version next time I see one of these.

Agreed. Plus, if you want to look at multiple coins in one quick sitting -- just flip a few pages seems a lot easier than a gazillion mouse clicks to get to the destination
