Please Grade This 1844-O Half Dime

    This is quite a scarce issue among the half dimes of the 1840's.

    F-15 LIBERTY on the shield has several worn letters. A VF grade requires all letters to be strong. Very nice looking for the grade and yes, it’s a low mintage.

    I think a lot of that missing detail is from a weak strike. Notice the left stars are flatter than the right stars. And also the wreath below "STA" of "STATES".
