Please Grade This 1848 Dime - (beautiful colour)

I was really surprised when I received this coin and looked at it at an angle in the light.

How would you grade it?

Nice. I'm thinking 50 or 53.

 

I want it to be a AU55... How much luster is left?

There is a patch of hairlines under "DIME". Maybe from an old cleaning?

 

There is actually nice luster left on the surface. I was very surprised this coin was much better in hand than on the seller pictures.

 

Not sure on the grade but she's darn purdy.

 

I think the devices show significant wear, but remaining luster around the devices. so I am thinking XF 45. There may have been an old cleaning in the fields and secondary toning.

 

High AU. Very nice coin.

 

Nice coin - I say AU55.

 

I have a similar looking and coloured half Dime in an AU53 holder.
So I would see your coin in AU53 shape, too.

 

I’m at a low AU grade, 50 or 53 at the highest. Nice looking for sure but it does show wear.
