Hello everyone, hopefully I can get some advice on this coin to see if it's a no fg with floating roof I apologize for the images I can redo if I need to
I see nothing but a coin that's been rode hard and put away wet. The top part of the Memorial "roof" is set back and the copper in the "recess" has turned dark. It's a spender.
Looks like I can see the bottom of the G on the FG. No attached roof on the left side but there’s no right side. I also see small green spots all over the coin and that’s not good.
The date and the other areas of the Cent shows circulation wear. The floating roof is common and not really a recognized error unfortunately. This effect is typically caused by over-polished mint dies. None of the third party graders would even attribute the issue. All the misinformation you see about it being valuable is false. All the listings you see on eBay and other sites selling it are just people trying to scam misinformed newbies into wasting their money. It's Nothing really major.
