This Washington Before Boston medal was strike by the same die pair which was used to strike the gold medal that was awarded to Washington. According to the 100 Greatest American Medals and Tokens book, there are 25 40 of these medals known.

A day late and 99 cents short (of a dollar, that is) so here's my spooned 1895 Indian Head Cent.

Well, it's almost like money. A piece of encased postage. The Ayers pieces are the most common.

The coin you posted does not look like any spooned coin that I have seen, the outer edge seems to smooth for a spooned coin. To me it look like it's encased in a bezel.
The weight should be high if it is. Ether way its a cool piece to have.

It's definitely not in a bezel, and the weight is just about as exact as you get at 3.113 grams. But yeah, it's extremely smooth on the rim and it is very much mushroomed out

wouldn't that fit an old dryer coin vs a spooned coin ?

A dryer coin should have at least lost a small bit of weight, and also have the marks to prove it. This edge is incredibly smooth and mushroomed out, very much unlike the dryer coin. And the details left on each side show that it was not stuck inside of a machine, but instead gently coerced into this shape.
