I can't remember if I've posted this before, but bear with me. Might send to VarSlab for attribution and an explanation from John what this crazy looking "doubling" is? Anyone know what this is called and is it just a normal thing? I think the pics of the obverse speak for themself.
I remember buying this about 3 years ago on the Flea. It was so unusual I bid way over on max bid at the last minute and stole it for less than 60 bucks. I was willing to pay twice what I ended up paying because it was so unusual (and silver was trading a LOT less than today). I really don't care if it's not an error, it's unusual and I'm happy to have it in my collection. I just don't know what it's called.
