I have wanted a coin from the Machin's mills Newburgh mint for a while, and finally picked one up from the Reeded Edge. this one is a Vlack 19-87 C I think, and usually comes nice. Dies made by James Atlee, it is believed. The reverse die was a workhorse and used to strike multiple varieties. This one is graded VF35 by PCGS.
Nice just be careful with the colonial coppers.. they are very addictive and often lead you on to civil war tokens and hard time tokens too lol
It is a little known fact that lip plumping treatments were available in 1787. I think they used pork fat at the time.
