Hello everyone, Today I did a 6 hour beach metal detecting hunt at Brooklyn's Brighton Beach also known as Coney Island. First I want to share a few pictures I took of the amusement park. You may know or not know these famous landmarks.. Cyclone Roller Coaster Wonder Wheel Parachute Drop Amusement Rides So, I didn't find any gold or silver jewelry. I'm a little bummed out about it And I met 4 locals who have been detecting the area for years and they stated they have noticed that the good finds have been less recently. I found $5.32 in modern clad, Nickels and cents A cheap toy car made in China And this was the best find today.. 1973 MARDI GRAS Aluminum Medallion And I can't forget to share Nathan's Hot Dog shop
Too bad you had a disappointing day. Not every day can be a good. At least you learned not to go back there for a while.
Blast from the past Thanks for posting photos of Brighton Beach. It's been about 35 years since my last visit, seemed like yesterday. Looked like a beautiful day.
Having fun at Coney Island and a bit of success detecting, I would say you did pretty darn well, congrats!
Something is usually better than Nothing. Doesn't quite cover the cost Gas Batteries Food at Nathan's
Is Nathan's based out of NYC? They are my favorite hot dog. They are mighty proud of them price wise. The ones with "foreskins" on them are the best. They seal in all those scrumptious preservatives that lock flavor in.
Started in 1916 is what I know. Here is the history.. Nathan's Famous - Wikipedia https://share.google/p3yyLflTt4YuzkrDO Oh. Some new information Nathan's Famous hot dogs for retail sale are manufactured by Smithfield Foods, which produces them at major meat processing facilities located across the United States, including a primary plant in Cincinnati, Ohio.
