Coming from a poor family I was brought up on it but hadnt eaten it for maybe 30 years. A few years back I told my kids that all Americans needed to know what it was and what it tasted like. So on a camping trip I served it. I didnt remember how horrible it was! I wont do that to them again!
Wow - many, many awesome coins in this thread. Pigs are popular here. My only decent pig (Trajan quadrans w/ Hercules):
Another one I forgot...... Gaul, Senones Coin: Potin Two rampant goats facing one another; pellet between, annulet between hind legs Rampant wolf and boar facing one another; pellet between Mint: Gaul (100-60 BC) Wt./Size/Axis: 4.20g / 20mm / - References: CCCBM III 466ff De la tour 7458

LESBOS, 5th century BC. 1/24 stater. O: Confronted boars' heads R: Quadripartite incuse square, divided diagonally. HGC 6, 1071. VF. 7 mm, 0.7 g.
Great coin Chris. Lesbos is high on my list but I have never found one I like that is in my price range.

Please help! Can anyone identify my one and only coin? I am new to Coin talk and thought this thread to be the most appropriate to post on. Many thanks in advance. s..
