I will hold off on my choice until after I win (I mean if I win). There are so many offerings that fit my random collection style.

Please can I enter for the Greenland 25 øre? I don't have anything from Greenland and that's a beauty. :)

Thanks LM as always for the opportunity.

I’ll let y’all slide on it this month, but for future reference, I prefer a prize choice (and short note on your reasoning) up front for an entry to qualify, please.

The data points (what sort of stuff people like and why they like it) is the only thing I get out of these contests. It’s a small price to ask, really.

And since you’re allowed to change your mind at the end of the contest, should you actually win the drawing, it shouldn’t be too hard to pick something up front. You will always have the option to pick something different at the end, if your random number is selected.

Mia culpa.... I'll choose Giveaway Lot #260203-01, the off-center cent. It will go nicely with my varied collection of cent errors. You can never have enough error coins!

I'd like to try for the White Porcelain Medal. It's a neat piece and I don't have any numismatic porcelain as of yet. As always, thanks for hosting these!

I'll try to do the giveaway sometime in the wee hours of the morning, Eastern time on Wednesday (so sometime in the next 24 hours). In the meantime, the contest is still open for anyone who isn't in yet and wants to make a last-minute entry.

It is time for our drawing. Not a lot of entries this month, so there wasn't much competition!

    Our lucky number was... 27.

And Post #27 was by... @Mr. Numismatist !

COINgratulations, @Mr. Numismatist ! You do have some numismatic porcelain now, unless you opt for a different prize!

This is yours now. I shall of course require your shipping address, and will message you shortly. Do please remember to post a receipt to this thread when you get the item, so we'll all know you received it. :)

I think you'll like this one. At silver dollar size, it is bigger than some of the other Meissen porcelain medals I've had.

    Giveaway Lot #250907-10

Germany (Löbau): 1921 white gilt porcelain medal, 700th anniversary
    [IMG]

This handsome white porcelain medal was issued in 1921 for the 700th anniversary of the city of Löbau in the German state of Saxony, which was established in 1221.

It was produced by the famous Meissen porcelain works, whose "crossed swords" trademark is visible on the obverse.

According to the tag, it is a very scarce variety, of which less than 200 pieces were produced.

It is rather large, and has the diameter of United States silver dollar. It is thick, too- reportedly thicker than other porcelain medals of the period.

    38 mm, Scheuch variety 1829q, Rarity-R.

Ex- Ephesus Numismatics, 9 December 2024, with their tag.
