It's nice you're having fun searching. The old 1934 $5.00 looks interesting but I don't think there was any "fruitful" finds from your strap (four 4's would definitely be a "spender" for me). When I was doing it, I was lucky to find one 3 digit repeater for every 3-4 straps (bundles) I searched (& CAD only have 7 digits, not 8). I searched a brick (1000) & nothing once or twice. Striking out so regularly (& finding a solid 8 from change) kind of "let the gas leak out of the tank" for me.
Thanks for watching! I didn't know CAD only had 7 digits! Yeah, I typically show a random thing from the collection if it's a weak strap hunt. Quads of any number I keep because it makes matching seriel numbers easier. It removes some variables. So they're not rare or cool by thenselves, but maybe they can get me to a pair that then becomes rare. Stuplubak Currency alerted me to that technique.
