If I was in a coin shop where it was THAT price, well I might have bought every item there.

 

3.50 for a Morgan. I will take Coins for 500 Alex.

 

Just how long have you had this coin @Randy Abercrombie? Did you find it lost in one of your safes? Inquiring minds want to know.

 

Nope. That was on a local auction site that I peruse regularly.

 

That’s terrific! I know I some that I paid close to that price around here somewhere.

 

It's probably going to need a good soak in acetone to remove PVC plastic as well. I'll go on record that coin has not been "cleaned or wiped" in a few years or so.

 

And to think someone passed on it at $3.00...till someone else decided to take a shot on it as priced thinking it might be a good investment
