Here's a coin purchased with zero regard for the holder or the esthetics of the coin. I have to find out who catalogued this coin and recognized it as an undescribed DM. 1855-O NGC AU55 - Undescribed die marriage - No known obverse has a die crack between stars 3 and 4 and a die crack extending to Liberty's head.
I got an opportunity to pick up these new designs, for not much money. And, since they don't get down south very often, I grabbed them.

Never been a grey sheet Guy. As an in hand buyer I just tend to buy what has appeal. There is some real nice frost on the obv, and highly reflective mirrors to the field, It went into a Whittman Classic, Just as a hole filler.
