Have a 100 bill that has a pretty cool serial number.. is it worth it to grade or be worth more than its value? If so how and where would i be abke to do that?
Bloop.. that's not a fancy serial number of any kind. "Cool" serial numbers are just a made up term that really has no merit. There's no premium for that. It's not worth sending in for grading in my honest opinion. Spend it on something important. Seriously. Welcome to CoinTalk
Google states.. Based on a search of the first 1 million digits of pi, the sequence 16161622 does not appear. While pi is an infinite, non-repeating irrational number, which means any sequence of numbers could technically appear eventually, the sequence "16161622" is not found in the initial million digits, according to online search tools. Oops.. I thought you said Pi
Idk.. just thought could of been something there.. lol according to this website.. thought id ask ppl that may know more
LOL.. that website is a joke and really shouldn't be taken seriously. I told my stepson about it a few years ago when he started dabbling in paper Currency. He gets it now. He avoids that information because it's a bit silly.
Nothing special but it is kind of neat. If you had the note from 6 bills earlier then you’ve got something. All you need was the last two digits to be 16 instead of 22. Close but no.
This is a real website for fancy serial numbers. Can't find the one I want which is listed in the currency forum. But this one seemed OK. https://collectiblescurrency.com/bl...Uomo-fstTQCoX2342V5nyuSBmotVG3v8tVMRJOKMJud6r And even a price guide. https://www.uscurrencyauctions.com/us-currency-fancy-serials-value-price-guide.html
