LordM Giveaway #146 (pick your prize) Contest status: OPEN Drawing: pending; on or after 1 June 2026 Winner: pending Shipping status: pending Winner's receipt: pending Hello, everyone, and welcome to the latest giveaway. This will be another one of my "pick your prize" contests, so you can hopefully win something you'll like. To enter: 1. Go view my giveaway goodies list. 2. Come back here to post an entry, stating which prize lot you would prefer. 3. State why you chose what you did. NOTE: That last bit is important. To qualify, you have to not only pick a prize, but also say WHY you picked it. Just a few words will do. Alternately, you could enter on someone else's behalf. Just name them. In that case, you are not required to pick a prize or say why. Your designated proxy will get to pick their choice later, if your entry wins for them. Your prize choice need not be final. I do periodically add new prizes to the giveaway goodies list, so if you win the drawing, you'll be given a chance to change your mind later, if you see a new prize you like more. I just enjoy reading everyone's initial selections up front, since it gives me an idea of what folks like. Click the pic below to view the prize list. The drawing will be done via random number generator sometime on or after the date mentioned at the top of this post. The timing will depend on my schedule. You may consider the contest open for entries until such time as I have posted the final result of the drawing. Totally free: the contest is free of charge, open to everyone, with free worldwide shipping. The only further requirement is... If you win, please post a receipt in this thread after you get the prize, so we'll know you got it (that helps me keep track). Good luck! Numismatic regards, ~Robertson ("Rob") Shinnick ("LordM") ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ LordM Giveaway archive This contest is brought to you by Daisy.
I will give it a try again. I would like lot 250907-03, 1841 copper Braided Hair large cent. Why you ask. Because it goes with the 1856 large cent I had won in a previous giveaway. Maybe this is the start of a new collection?
Thank you LM for another chance at the 1841 copper Braided Hair large cent I do not have anything prior to 1856 so would be able to stretch my collection farther back in time. And start my 7070 album.
Entry post for @expat ! Even when the pooches are in the house, they’re still watching the yard for intruders.
I'm still going with the MS62 ANACS Peace Dollar to get my first slabbed silver coin. Fingers crossed.
Please enter me again for the 1967 Canadian Centennial Set. I really like the set designs, and I hope my persistence pays off in trying again. Thank you so much lordmarcovan for the contest!
I'm in. Thank you @lordmarcovan for your continuous support and generosity on this site. If I am lucky enough to win I would like lot 260120-05 the 4 coin set. I especially like the Leper colony token. A unusual coin to add to my hoard
Entry post here! Giveaway Lot #250907-24 If I win, I would surely appreciate that 2020 ASE with the funk of Hurricane Helene on it, great back story of how the man's coins were swept away and after clean up, returned to him. That story makes for a lucky coin! Since I always post a pic of a token in these contest threads, here goes. This one is a bit different as the obverse is a token but the reverse, idk? Looks kinda like a belt buckle but I don't know for sure, feel free to educate me if you feel it's something else, I'm always open to learning!
@lordmarcovan, this is a post for the Liberty Head Nickel. Brilliant contest. Regards, Sting. Here is a neat one.
Okay, I'll try again for the win. Lucky #12. I'm undecided as to what I would pick. Something my cousin in Florida would like. She's sort of a newbie collector. Something cool maybe. Hmm.?? Maybe the Barber Quarter if you have one.
Entry post! I'd love to get another chance at the MS62 1922 Peace dollar. I don't have many slabbed coins, and definitely not any slabbed silver dollars.
I forgot my reason. I sold my full set of liberty head nickels about 10 years ago when funds were scarce, and I need one for my future type set. Regards, Sting.
Good news/bad news for y’all: The bad news: I sold both large cents that were previously offered in the giveaway gallery- including the 1841 you chose. (I don’t actively try to sell the stuff that’s in there, but occasionally somebody does want something in there and approaches me with an offer.) The good news: I just picked up another 1840s large cent, so this 1845 will be available if you win the drawing: Good news/bad news for you as well. The bad news: the four-piece lot which included that leper colony token you mentioned also just sold, to someone who twisted my arm. The good news: I will inform the new owner of your interest in that piece, and also, since I know you were previously after that PCGS MS66 Omaha Bank Hoard War nickel I had (which someone else ended up winning in a previous giveaway), I should inform you that I just got a PCGS MS66 RD 1954-S Wheat cent that also has the Omaha Bank Hoard pedigree. So while I don’t have a photo of that handy right this moment, it will be available should you win the drawing. Jason (@NosajOgre) kindly donated that when I saw him in person at @Aethelred’s NC coin shop yesterday.
Entry Post I'd like to toss my hat into the ring, again, for the Giveaway Lot #260122-01 (LOT: 2 coins) United States: two first-year nickels (1883 No Cents Liberty and 1913 Type 1 Buffalo) Still hoping to fill my 7070 slots. Thank you for your generosity, Rob.
Entry post! I would love the 1922 Peace dollar. Would love to have in my pocket to fiddlw with and take away ant stress! Anyone visiting or living in MA. The subway or trolley is on me.. This token sure brings back memorys.
Decisions, decisions, so much to choose from. The choice gets even tougher with each contest. I'll have a decision after my number comes up. Thanks again @lordmarcovan
In a surprise move...I'm going for... Lot #250906-06 Crusader States: ca. 1163-1201 AD silver "helmet" denier of Bohemond III of Antioch. Again...Ha! It still fascinates me, and I don't have one.
