How do you store your bank notes? Just got the Lighthouse archive box with BCW top loaders and really like the set up! Thoughts?

That will take up a lot of real estate in a safe. It's not for me. I prefer binders.

I just put them in a plastic sleeve and stack them on the edge.

That's true! It is bulky. Its a tight squeeze.

Wow! Seems like mostly albums being used. I have an album for my fancy seriel numbers and low grade silver certs, but wanted an upgrade for graded stuff. Would love to see your set ups for those.

Mine are in sleeves in a Crown Royal tin. Graded notes in a box the same size as the TPG sleeves.

I like the box but doubt it would fit my safe

I currently have mine in various size binders depending on graded vs. ungraded

Do they make binder sleeves for graded notes? Maybe I'm a barbarian, but I always fear them bending and stuff when I flip the binder pages.

This is why I won’t use a binder. It only takes once and the note is damaged.

Yes, they do! The pages are the same size as the TPG note (so you can't put 2 notes in one page though some big binders can accommodate 2 certified notes)

That's cool! I didn't know that existed! Thanks for the education, I guess I have the box now so there's no going back for me :dead:, but maybe it helps others :greedy:.

I was using the 3 per page binder sheets for ungraded notes, but felt they weren't protected enough. The graded notes in sheets that fit them are cool, didn't know that was an option. Either way, I'm happy with the box.

I use a supersafe album with pages that hold graded notes. Large enough to hold a full size graded large note or an ungraded small size. Can add more pages as needed.

Your albums are really nice. I use a 3 ring binder for some of my less nice bills, but now I like the idea of have a nicer binder like these. I'm going to limit the use of the archive box for my best notes.

It is great to read this thread on banknote pages (1, 2, 3 pocket pages), binders, & PVC-free currency sleeves! Any thread on proper banknote storage is a good read for me.
The last couple of weeks I have been catching up on YT World banknote collections. I have been struck by how many content creators who handle their notes without a sleeve! Some of these collectors look like they had an UNC note which has suddenly become an AU just by their poor handling (& no sleeve)!
