First, don't get so hung up on the grades. It doesn't matter in ancients like it does with modern coins and it is not as easily determined because ancient coins are hand made and there are more variables that matter a lot more than the wear on a coin. Second, XF doesn't exist in ancient coin terminology either. The main grades you will be concerned with are F- fine, VF - very fine, EF - extremely fine, Mint State or FDC (which is not really interchangeable). There are variations between them that you will see like add ons such as "nearly", "about", "good", "superb", etc, but you really don't need to get hung up on it. In all likelihood, you will be collecting coins that are VF or EF given your OP example. Here's something to give you some reading tonight. https://www.forumancientcoins.com/numiswiki/view.asp?key=Grading Guidelines for Ancient Coins
I have that problem from time to time. You can fix it by changing your DNS. At first I didn't want to do this (why should I have to change my DNS to fix a problem with one website?!) but Wildwinds is pretty useful so I caved. I'm on a Mac so if you're on Windows there will be some procedural differences but the DNS numbers are the same: Network > Advanced > DNS Click "+" to add IPv4 or IPv6 addresses Type 8.8.8.8 Click the "+" again Type 8.8.4.4 Click apply or OK or whatever to make the changes stick
I didn't know (or care) either. "Domain Name Server" You can read more about it here (although I read it, still don't understand, and still don't care )
