Thanks, though in my case it won't really be happy. Lost my dog of almost 13 years three years ago on the 15th. Still miss him a lot.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss.... I truly understand as I am a dog person ...I've had one since the age of 7...just about as long as collecting coins. You know you never forget any of them......And you know there's 100 ' s of dogs waiting to be your best friend. Do as I have done never forget not one, and rescue another....as you may find a cold wet nose to be your best friend. Maybe the 15 th can be a remembrances of a old friend and the beginning of a new one.

I lost my dog to cancer 5 years ago. To this day I still miss him, and I still feel sad on the anniversary of that day.

Couch? Perhaps you meant a proper Roman triclenium. I swear, some of these provincials are no better than barbarians. Whomever heard of having your meals sitting down? Ghastly! If these provincials can't be bothered to do things the proper Roman way, I say we drive them off the Tarpeian rock and back to Bithynia or wherever else they come from.

I lost my dog almost 10 years ago. Probably still won't be alive today due to age. But I still miss him. All this talk about stabbing is making me thirsty, let me get my red wine out.

I'm a fan of your second Caesar coin. The sharpness and preservation of the details, and that deep toning, are simply superb. What an amazing coin. Coin #3 is nice too.

 

I like the first one... after shooting it with a .223 back in 44BCE then plugging it nicely is a REAL FEAT for Ancient times!

 

Yeah, it's pretty coin, but I'm not a big fan of the tarnish called black patina. The last coin would be excellent except for the ragged flan.
