Bright and beautiful day, I headed the 'Seeker' toward Orlando at 9:30am. I-4 was horrendous but I made it to the parking area of the West Hall of the Orange County Convention Center in a little over an hour. With plenty of parking to be found I secured my ride and proceeded to the entrance.......... Upon entering, I came across this display of fine leafy veggies. I'm a big fan of salad greens. I loves Basil...... Up the escalator and our trek continues. When I say trek, I mean it. I must have walked a good 1/4 mile of more to hit the show entrance....... Now through some doors and down hallways and escalators......here.....I'll show ya.
The show was moderately attended, with many folks my age (mostly) but there was a fair amount of middle aged and younger (20's-30's) individuals along with a number of youngsters. And on a school day too........
It's about 1/2 mile if you count the walk through the parking lot. The year that the FUN Show used the West Bldg., I was totally worn out (hauling my load of coins to sell) by the time I made it to the entrance to the bourse. Chris
OK, now this next exhibit really floored me........I'm not a 'paper' collector but I must say I was most impressed by the varied display of Florida bank notes. Stay tuned for some real eye candy (gotta check the ragu).
All in all, a good show for me. I saw some neat exhibits, met some new friends, picked up a lot of samples, and found three 'Bookers' I needed for my collection. Only one more to go on that one......... Hope you folks enjoyed my thread........time to head for home darlin'.
Haha. Someone put up their free appraisals banner upside down and said screw it. That's funny... Or it's marketing genius to draw eye attention to the table
International distress symbol.........Isis had control of them at the time, but order was quickly restored........
