2017A Dollar Bill

    serial number under "Of America" would this be considered a margin error, most dollar bills 2017A have serial number lower

    thanks for reply the serial number is usually centered in between the two bottom laurel leaves, on this bill it is not

    It’s a little off but still within specs. To me, a note collector, it’s normal.

    I agree that it is a little bit high, but its not enough to be called any type of an error.
    Just an abnormality that comes with the process of printing.

    I find a good way to approach your question is this. If you are a currency collector, more specifically, a currency error collector, would YOU pay any premium for that note?

    I'm guessing you found it in circulation and you're just hoping it's a keeper. Even at face value I'd say it's a spender. Return it to the wild and keep examining each bill you receive. Good luck in your search.
