That is why all photos must be taken directly facing the coin and must be a lot clearer than the photos you have posted. I's sorry but I haven't seen any photos that convince me. I would really like to confirm another one but if you are sure then you must get much clearer photos. Richard
notice the die scratch on his neck same as yours also notice the number 2 at the bottom the line same as yours
your photos aren't clear enough for me to see any definite markers. I am not being sarcastic, merely honest.
@Mickey161 do you have a magnifying glass or loupe you could set over the coin and try to take a pic?
That could help a ton. Try the sewing section in Walmart or target, they have ones with decent magnification for cheap.
@BooksB4Coins @ziggy9 @Rick Stachowski Doesn't own a loupe but swears he found a rare DDR and is surprised no one believes him.
Let's be clear. I came in and I kindly gave you the benefit of the doubt and even offered you advice on how to take a better shot. Advice you didn't take because you don't have a loupe. You keep taking crappy shots and then expecting everyone to just go "oh yeah, I totally see it." The shot you need requires proper magnification. So does actually being able to identify the coin. You have stuck your nose up at every single person who has responded to your post and swore up and down you have a rare DDR. How can you even try to claim it without owning a loupe? That's step 1 in looking for varieties. You got pretty defensive, and I would say rude, with people who have forgotten far more knowledge about coins than you have learned. I have news for you, brother, you're trolling yourself. It is clear to me that your anger and defensiveness come from a lack of knowledge on the subject and so you allow your defense mechanisms to kick in instead of your wit. I'm sorry you felt insulted by me laughing at the fact that you claim to be a numismatist and know more than the experts but don't even own a loupe. Frankly, the thought is still laughable.
You do not "own" a thread that you start. If you do not appreciate the comments of some member/s, you can always put them on an Ignore list. But please refrain from cursing. Thanks! Christian
Mickey, do something like this with you images . But, make sure their clear enough to see and the arrows help too .
