It’s not just a silver war nickel. I thought I took a better photo of the date but it’s easier to see in the first picture. Just enlarge a little and it’s easy to see. My apologies. This is the 1943-P, 3 over 2 variety.
I've heard of the variety but never seen one. Guess it's pretty subtle, huh? Can't see anything in those pics. Congrats on the find. Did you get it in circulation?
I took the obverse photo and cropped it to show how clear the over date is on this one. The bottom curl of the 3 shows the 2. Found in a roll years ago if I’m not mistaken. Been awhile.
