Ian Anderson looks like a madman on stage. I still like a few of their early albums, good stuff.

 

Judging from the lathe marks (swirl in the background) it was cut from round bar rather than the traditional sheet planchet.

 

Yeah, I noticed that. Possibly because of the hardness of titanium.

 

Very nice piece.

 

Seeing how thick it is to get a 1 oz coin reminded me of why it's used for bicycle frames - low density (weight) but the highest tensile strength of any metallic element.

 

It does tone fairly easily though
