Difficult to see in cell phone photos but in hand it’s clear. You can see barely see it if you look hard enough but it just shows the tips of the C on the right side at top and bottom.
This is the 1900-O over CC Morgan Dollar. Graded by NGC for Chattanooga Coin from what they call the West 57th St. Collection. It has a card from the CEO stating it’s what NGC says it is and it’s in Very Good condition. I’ve had this for 11 years now. I don’t buy from Chattanooga Coin as I have other dealers that I use and treat me very well. I have way too much and most if what I’m selling is going into my antique shop but I’m keeping this one.

Join the club. It's really hard to see without a coin scope. Same for S over S, etc, etc. Most times unless you know what you are looking for, most people would never notice. :D

1887 over 6 is the same. I wonder how many I've missed and passed on, and it's a valuable VAM.

No grade on the slab? Genuine or sample?

On the right side of the O stage top and bottom. If you see those two little black marks, that's the CC. Very hard to pick up in the camera with a cell. At Kraft NGC has it on the label.

No grade. I think Chattanooga paid a lower price without the grade. That's why they enclosed a business like card with the grade on it.

The O/CC is my favorite VAM! This coin was bought raw for $27+shipping off the bay about 10+ years ago. Had no idea about VAMs at the time. Believe it or not, this was the 1st Silver Dollar (Morgan) I purchased from this place called eBAY:D
Wish it was graded by PCGS, but ICG was the cheapest at the time.:meh:

Bulk submission. This was originally a horde purchased by Stack's, a million coins, 30 tons worth. I'm not sure where Chattanooga Coin got involved - maybe they bought a chunk of it from Stack's? Perhaps someone knows. Most of them are "Stack's W 57th St Collection" with NGC special labels. Here's an article on it. https://coinweek.com/west-57th-street-collection/

The NGC label does have the West 57th St. Collection Label. Not sure how Chattanooga got involved but I’d say you’re on the right track. :)

Nice coin and ICG graded it nicely. :)

I'm just saying that there is another label which includes "Stack's." Yours doesn't. Seems like the majority of these have the Stack's label, some with only "genuine" and others got a numerical grade. I suppose they split them up into "worth grading" and not?

I think Stack's put their name on the label for the ones they sold. The rest were probably I’d as the O/CC variety and sold to Chattanooga without grades at a very reduced price point.
