    Welll Adam...
That note has sure seen it's share of transactions! In VG8 they are in the range of $70-80.
I say that note falls below a VG8 and has a few splits in it as well.
I am not sure what $$ to put on it...but be assured it will not be too much.Cant read the Series# but with Speelman/White it was either the last note of 1899 or the first of 1923 when they held office together.

    Let us know...

That note is the most common of the 1923s and given how worn it is, it wouldn't sell for more than $10-15 in your typical coin shop. Local coin store right now has several of those in much nicer condition for only $20-25 each. Hope you didn't pay too much for it.

Thanks for the info guys. No worries NOS. It was given to me by my dad, and its probably been in the family since around the time it was circulating.

If it's a family deal keep it no matter what the shape. Some of my favorite coins are low grade examples that my dad (who knew NOTHING about coins) gave me. He's gone but the coins are still here.

Being passed down over the years like that makes it worth a whole lot. I'd put it some place safe to pass down when you're ready. The one thing that makes it valuable is that you know the history of where it has been all these years.

No offense, I don`t think I would buy that note for $10.00......
It is a POOR note in grade, only a keeper if you want to have one for free....

I already said it once but here it is again.

That's a FAMILY note so it's worth a lot just not dollar wise as it were.

Hey, you're not going to get rich on it so keep it in the family
