You could make a decent profit on eBay... some people are getting $100 for a box of "P" mint

 

Got four $25 boxes.
NO new cents but I DID get 54 wheaties from the 1st $50. Let's see what the next two boxs bring.
I'm not used to so many wheaties from one bank purchase

 

If you get another new box I would stash one of the boxes away for later.

 

Has it gone down already? $100 is still a nice profit. It used to be closer to $200.

 

Yeah the other one I picked up, was all circulated so started going through them. Half way roughly and have about 10 wheats thus far.

sure wish we could get them like that we have no banks close by that will do that

 

I asked my local BOA branch today and mgr said they can't special order "new" coins. Just whatever boxes they get off the trucks. Does anyone know a bank that would be able to do that??
As far as I've seen both the mint itself and the federal reserve do not have those options either.

Have you ever heard of a $5 penny box? New to me but I found one when shopping online the other day. I'm wondering if it is legit.

 

I am in NY and cannot get rolls from any banks.
I recently traveled down the Eastern part of the country and along the way I made stops in
Virginia- no 2017 rolls
North Carolina- Charlotte- no rolls
South Carolina- No Rolls
Florida- Jupiter, Melbourne, Daytona No 2017 Lincoln Rolls

 

I asked for mint rolls but only got customer provided rolls for the last 4. If I get a chance I'll hit a bigger bank closer to Houston.

Could not resist so bought them with paypal from last week on off chance it was real and mail just delivered today. Sorry for poor photos but thought was kind of cool and wanted to show someone.

 

I bought a box of 2500 2017p pennies go E-bay for $68.00. Spent the last week going through them. I stunned when I opened the first roll and found an error on the second coin I looked at. It has a die break that starts above the eye brow and forma a "Y" in the forehead with a die chip. The right side of the "Y" extend trough the hailing to the back of the head. On the reverse, I found a die gouge that extend from the fold of the first stripe of the shield below the motto to just outside of the shield on the left side. Looks like a spike. So far I have gone through twenty rolls and have close to 400 errors. There are six different styles of errors. Most are die breaks. I hope to have photos shortly.

 

Whoa. Please share. I wonder if that's going to drive prices up.

What penny deal? banks at face value or stores with a premium?

 

its a penny deal when you can get rolls like the 25.00 box we cant get that here we can get a few rolls but they are from other bank members thjat turn them in and we only can get limited rolls our banks if you are not a member wont give you any and the stores will give none
