Exactly my thought as well! Minted a year before I started collecting in 1961, at 66 years of age it looks better than I do…!
Thanks CN. Here is a composite of the first few years of the Jefferson Nickel. Almost a complete set from 39 thru 45. I have found more than three dozen Silver Nickels in the last 3 or 4 months. I could probably put together several sets like this with recent finds. I am not trying to brag. I would like all collectors (especially the young collectors) to know that they are still out there in the wild. Don't give up.
