Yeah, but that doesn't cure a blurry photo that hides all the lines left by an attack from an abrasive media.
The picture was taken through a microscope, there's not much you can do to cure blurry with those. That said, I saw what was going on when I first looked at the original picture. My point being, there wasn't anything wrong with the picture. Would it have been easier with a better picture ? Yeah probably. But in my estimation that picture was better than what you'd get if you had looked at the coin with a loupe. And I'm pretty sure I would have seen what was going on if I had just looked at the coin in hand - without a loupe.
