    I am including two images of a 1992 penny that was double struck. Is it a Double Die or a Double Strike?

    I can't tell. The image is too small.

    Looking at the date I can see that it looks like DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling. Not caused by a Doubled Die or Double Strike.

    They didn't register with your initial post.

    FWIW, I don't see any doubling or evidence of a double strike.

    @cpm9ball
    Look at the date. I see incused Doubling caused by DDD. I know it's blurry but I can tell

    Yeah, I had to re-direct my Hubble scope to see it.

    I don't see a problem with the size of the images, only the pixels of which they are comprised are huge and result in having to allow my imagination fill in the voids.

    I wouldn't stake anything on those pix.

    I am seeing double die in America and E-pluribus-unum. I have seen DDD. Those marks are not DDD.

    Then you need to re-learn what a true Doubled Die looks like.. Because you are wrong

    Ever heard of a worn die strike? o_O

    NAV or No Added Value Doubling caused by worn dies and being struck on a zinc planchet, then coated with a very thin coat of copper.
