Feb. roll results; 34-boxes, got 31-silvers (27-Rosie's, 4-Merc's), for 2.24 oz, .9/box avg. BUT, not as good as my Jan numbers of: 23-boxes, 124-silvers (53-Rosie's, 67-Merc's, 4-Can), for 8.68 oz, 5.2/box avg. The big find came near the end of Jan that gave up 98-silvers in ONE BOX as 33-Rosie's & 65-Merc's. WOW, a dream box for sure; best box I ever had was 18-silvers about 4-years ago.
I've yet to find a silver in a box of dimes... I must be going to the wrong banks! Congrats on the finds!
Congratulations! I find silver maybe one or two a box. Do you get the unopened boxes from the bank- BWR?
I try in most cases to go for both types: MWR-which are those machine wrapped by the (banks) coin supplier, and those CWR-that are customer wrapped rolls. Good results can go both ways, but I think I would put my money on CWR. Sooner or later you just might be there at the bank when somebody just dropped off an entire collection.
I have gotten solid rolls of silver Roosies, then last week I searched $350 in CWR and three rolls had 3-4 silvers in each roll.
