To me it looks like 2 simple Die Scrapes.

It looks like the torch bands to the right of the actual bands. if not, what would cause these raised bands in the field?

I agree these are die scrapes/damage though I haven't noted feeder finger damage that was perpendicular to the design before. Excellent link

 

I'd have to agree, with polish lines, the parallels are interesting though.
