    Collecting Nut Borderline Hoarder

    I purchased a collection a few years ago and just finished going through it late last year. The woman I bought it from was very pleased with the price I gave her. I’ve sold sone by of it as merit the higher price of silver I’ve already made a profit.
    Most of what I bought was dated about 100 to 60 years ago so a lot of silver coins, mainly Morgan’s and Washington Quarters. This coin was also in the mix. Shame about the mark on her face.

    Yeah, the scratch couldn't be in a worse place. Still, I like the coin. I have a thing for half cents...love 'em.

    I agree.
    I've yet to find or own and it's for sure a bucket lister for any collector. :D

    It’s an 1803 C-1, which is most common 1803 variety, an R-1. The diagnostic is the extra line on the fraction bar on the reverse.
