    I probably wouldn't have even noticed that this coin had an interior die break (nose).
    Without the funky toning. I think that it is a fingerprint or lotion that caused the two crescents. Not sure.

    Hey Sal, are these common? It seems that most new finds junk or not aren't posted on CT anymore. We used to see IDB's and die cracks, it was a couple everyday. Haven't seen many new member posts in a good while.

    Funky indeed- but interesting- toning. I wouldn't call it attractive, but it... umm... has character.

    I'm surprised you were able to detect the die break with all of the "noise" on the coin. I usually keep odd looking coins like this, and especially with the error.

    Look at the "0" in the date ... something in the recess of the die or PMD?.
