So i was on the u.s mint page and was wondering about the roles they send you. Are they all 2016? Or do they send you varieties of half dollars that were never put into curculation. Maybe im slow but i cant figure it out Haha.

Description says 20 philly and 20 denver 2016 Kennedy halves for $32.95.
Why would I want 50 cent pieces at 82 cents apiece?
Yes they are NIFC's not intended for circulation.

They have 2015 and 2017 as well, but if you are looking for a full date run ebay is probably your best bet

Because that is where the one below came from. Of course, when I bought the $100 bag of 2001 Mixed P&D when they were released in 2004, they cost 68c each ($135 per bag).

If you want a sure thing, it's going to cost more. A lot more!

Must admit, "NIFC" is a new one on me... Surely at 82 cents each, considering employee time, record-keeping, packing, and other expenses, I'd be surprised if they make anything at all by selling them. Somebody run the logic for me, please.

It's better to sell them at 82c than keep them in storage at the Federal Reserve Banks at 50c. Don't forget that the Mint is required by law to produce them.

Our starting cost on them is 50C, theirs is the cost of the material. They absolutely make money on those. I would be surprised if their cost was even half of the 82 cents
