Yes it is! I only need one to have them all and you can guess which one I need. It’s the 1893-S of course. A solid four figure coin in the worse of grades.

Well worn but a nice one to have.

Nice position to be in. I only need three. Here is my 1889-CC.

I only needed one Morgan to complete my collection, and got it.

My Type collection, that is. ;)

That’s the beauty of a Type set. You get to steer clear of key dates if you want to.

(I went with a common but pretty 1880-S in 66+.)

I have two type sets. One is low grade and the other is high grade. In the low grade I only need one coin, a Liberty Seated Silver Dollar. I just can’t seem to find the right one. One day I will. :)

I also need 18 coins for the high grade type set. I set this collection aside to work on completing a few other sets.

That's a tough hole to fill. I wonder why the rim is so worn on both sides of the coin in the same place? In other words, wear is not uniform. Is that common?

That’s the one type (the With Motto one) that I still lack to complete my holed 19th century type set. (I lack the type in my primary slabbed set, too, though I have the No Motto ones in both my slabbed and holey sets.)

I don’t know about the wear being common or not. I tend to think not.

It is a tough coin. I’ve seen a couple but neither would work in my set. Like I said, I’ll keep looking. :)
