1994 d lincoln cent size of a nickel but a bit thiner

    The nickel is just a reference penny is rather zink or maybe silver

    I don't think it's a Broadstruck out of Collar Cent. We have seen similar Cents posted before. They have most been Post Strike Damage. Altered somehow.

    With the Cent in question I say no. Like I stated we have seen these types of larger and thinner Cents before. Somehow they are alterd. Probably heated causing the difference in color, then pressed to become the way it looks.

    I used to do this by heating a zinc cent to the point where it just begins to melt and sort of spreads out.

    I just weighed the coin it weighed nearly 5.0 grams

    There is a mother problem with the heat theory when you heat up zink it turns a gold color.

    All I know and can tell you is that is not a Mint Error. :yack:
    Heating up the copper plating a certain way will darken the color also.

    Done it myself quite few times, never turned gold. Either by heat or other means, the coin is just damaged or fake as stated , no way it can be a mint error.

    It did, Lincoln's bust looks noticeably larger on your coin to me.
