1942-D Doubled Die Obverse Quarter

    Collecting Nut Borderline Hoarder

    A little difficult to see in photos but you can see it in the ER of LIBERTY the best. Graded by PCGS as a VG-10. Not sure if it would make a 12 by todays standards.

    Collecting Nut Borderline Hoarder

    The doubling was very small but it’s there. Obviously shows on this coin despite the wear. The bottom bar of the E has a piece curled upward. The straight leg of the R is where it shows the best. Also the bottom bar on the L shows slightly. Try a magnifying glass on my photo without enlarging.
