New tokens/medals

    I picked these up yesterday at my LCS. I don't specifically collect tokens but if I see something neat or unusual I'll grab it. I haven't done much research yet so I'm mostly going on what I can see here.

    I thought this was interesting. 1940 General Motors of Canada promoting Buick (with a bonus of a silver Canadian dime inside it).

    1959 Fairbanks, Alaska $1 trade token. This one is crown size.

    1971 Chicago fire centennial token. This is crown size, and I live near Chicago so I like Chicago stuff.

    This is apparently a token used inside a prison in Arkansas. 5 cents.

    I grew up there but don't remember any commemorations of that 100th anniversary. I see the water tower is on there, the only public building within the fire zone to survive. Not sure what the other historic buildings are (I recognize the modern ones). Cool tokens.
