It might make 63 if the dark areas on the face are not wear. There is a lot of scanner interference in the photo.
i dont know where yall learned to grade but from the scan this coin is a mint state all day! there is no sign of wear just a slightly weak strike i would call it a 63 but the scan is not that great so i cant completly tell, to anyone who would like to learn about grading i would suggest looking into the summer seminar with the ana its a ton of fun and you really learn alot go to money.org and find the summer seminar link, feel free to message me if you have any questions heres my email coinfisher91@yahoo.com Thanks Casey T.
I also only call this an AU53. While the photo isn't the best, I'm not seeing the ammount of luster on the high points that should be there. Even a weak strike would show more luster than this IMHO. Speedy
I gotta agree with the AU camp on this one. The image indicates lustre breaks on the upper cheek near the ear and hair, and lower neck near the point. What the heck... I'm thinkin' AU53.
I guess i will admit it its not a 63 i showed some of the guys at work today and he said that he would call it a 58 because of the dark spots on the bow in the hair, so you guys win on this one i now think this one is in the 58-60 catagory now.
