About a week and a half ago I gave in and bought the 1 oz. Superman medal; I still thought it was overpriced, but what the heck, I still wanted it and I could afford it, and I decided I wouldn't be getting any of the other "comic art" medals besides that one. $135 still felt like a lot when silver was $50 an ounce... But now it's over $90 an ounce, and the Mint announced they'll be adjusting the price on all their silver products upwards to compensate. $135 still seems like way too much, but with the price of silver, it feels... a lot less too much lol. Now I'm glad I locked in that price before they raised it even more. And besides, it is a nice medal. Got to give it that. P.S. Just checked the Mint website; the 1 oz. silver comic art medals are now selling for $200! ($400 for the 2.5 oz. silver ones.)
I am experiencing the same. I accidently won a few auctions and overpaid for silver a while back. I don't feel so bad now!
Yah feeling pretty good about the Krugerrand I bought recently. I didn't overpay for it but still feeling pretty good about its current value.
back in 2015 I bought a set of NGC MS69 2005 Marine Corp Commemorative Coins for $117. Spot was $14.54 that day. I thought I would never see the day when I broke even. Break even was 2 weeks ago? Now very profitable at just spot.
I received a credit card offer from Capital One Spark card. $750 rebate for spending $6000 in 3 months. That's almost worth looking at buying metals at this price point
So using cash at Provident you could get this or using a CC pay this .. So a $250.74 spread which would cover the $750 cash back to use Credit Card as long as you paid off the CC before any interest. Assuming their rebate is cash back and not some gift card that you may never use.
They say in real estate, location, location, location. I guess in silver you should say, timing, timing, timing. Congrats. James
Vermilion Enterprise in Florida (YouTube) was the best I've seen. My local shop was spot on ASE's But now $2 back of spot on ASE's. Claiming volitility for the change.
