    this bronze Pruta was being eaten away by BD, so i was soaking it in a lid of vinegar. i went to check on it last nite and this is what i found. the vinegar had evaporated, leaving the coin looking like this. blue pruta  my 1st bought collectors coin 003.JPG blue pruta  my 1st bought collectors coin 002.JPG

    lol, no it was totally encrusted with light green stchuff, but now you can see some detail on one side and a purdy blue color on the other.

    I don't think I'd use vinigar its like acid.
    I've had great success curing BD with verdicare, distilled water & accetone. Real bad cases used baking soda & ash.
    Out of 6 coins I've completely cured 5. Nothings perfect.

    That's pretty disturbing, gregarious! Maybe it's time to dig a hole and return it to the earth. ;)
