Coinstar Finds: What a haul I got!

  1. Yesterday, I found a large overflowing amount of change in the Coinstar return slot. There was so much that the chute the coins fell through was clogged up.
    Here's what I found:
    135 Lincoln cents [1934-P; 14 coppers]
30 Nickels [1972 was the oldest]
    8 Dimes
    1 1972 Quarter
    Total: $3.80
    Not bad eh?

Good timing and well done! Somebody REALLY didn't want their small change.

  8. The best haul I had ever gotten before was actually last week. I saw some unusually large coins in the return compartment, so I scooped up everything, and took a good, hard look when I got home. I had got:
    2 2009-D Presidential Dollars (John Tyler;10th-James K.Polk;11th)
    1 nickel, 1 dime, 1 penny
    Total: $2.16
This past week must have been birthday luck because yesterday was my birthday lol. The Dollars were also my birth year too!
