Thanks for the "boat load" of pic man. Did you weigh them? Probably counterfeit . Check this out...1931S : struck counterfeit - coppercoins.com
There, you did it! But how many 1931-S cents is that? Looks like the same three, over and over. Edit: oh yeah. You said three, up above. Anyway, if you found those coin roll hunting, that's awesome. They all look really nice, too.
Not coin roll hunting, bought 30 k cents at a local jewelry/ gold silver buyer a few months ago. Guy claimed he knew the the deceased owner said they hadn't been looked at in 40 years. Already found some 1922 weak d's as well, but these are SWEET!
Awesome. But wait... you bought thirty thousand cents? Wow. In 2006, I found this in a bulk bag of Wheat cents. Cost me less than a nickel. Sold it (after it slabbed XF40) for 700 bucks. Cha-ching! When I found it in the bag, there was a gob of dirt covering the mintmark. A toothpick and a little Vaseline removed that, and voilà! "D" doesn't just stand for "dirt"!
Nice condition! Oddly, they all seem to grade about the same. 30,000 of them you say? How far into them are you?
Is anyone listening to me. Check the link. Most out there are fakes, I tell you! 1931S : struck counterfeit - coppercoins.com Counterfeit Detection: 1931-S Lincoln Cent | NGC
