Apparently Abe is being held prisoner.
1974-D_1c_Ugh.jpg I may have done this one myself as a kid. I vaguely recall something about a vise and an ice pick and a hammer...

I just ran across this one going through some junk to set aside...I don't remember when I got it or from where. IMG_20251227_184452617.jpg

Here's a somewhat recently acquired piece.
Someone put some time and effort into making it what they wanted it to be.

Interesting piece. For once, I haven't a clue as to what that would've been used for. I've seen large cents made into gearlike tools, buzzer toys, buttons, and all sorts of things, but I've never seen one quite like that.

Since the round holes are not clean through, I suspect that they held screws at one time. It may have been a base or an end piece for something that had two squares on it. What that might be I cannot even speculate.

Seems like it started as a bracelet piece (round holes) and then someone pounded a square nail through it twice. Why? Who knows?

I agree that 2 screws attached it to something and who knows what the 2 squares were 4. I've never seen anything like it.

Bracelet is a good guess. Not a necklace or button of some sort. The holes aren't right as you say.
